Idle Rays Don't Expect Much Help

The idle Rays are resting after dropping a rare home series to the Astros. The Rays then head off on the road to the Marlins, Pirates then back home to the brawl with Boston part 2.

Boston is looking to beat up on the dissapointing D Backs and with Haren's 0 - 3 road record so far, Rays fans probably won't see any ground gained tonight.

Prospects for gaining in the wildcard doesn't look much better as the Angels are getting ready to pounce all over the Nationals and their pitcher Jason Bergmann (home record 0-2 6.35)

Rays Sweep Cubs!

First the Rays went to fight night at Fenway and got swept, then it was on to Texas and in the middle of Garza and Navi getting into it, the Rays won a series! The Rays then lost the series to the Angels (but didn't get swept!)

Back home to the Trop and the Rays won the series against the Marlins but then the true test was on the way. Could the Rays best the Cubs at home? The Rays won games one and two in heartstopping fashion and it was all down to game three last night.

First time that I have seen ESPN give that much time to talking about the Rays!
